Indo Tibetan Border Police Force(ITBP) has published the recruitment details for the post of Posts of Constable (Driver), Constable (Mechanics), Head Constable (Motor Mechanics), Constable (Pioneer), Sub Inspector (Overseer), Constable (Animal Transport), Head Constable (Dress Veterinary) & Inspector (Hindi Translator). a) Inspector (Hindi Translator): 13 post
b) Head Constable (Dresser Veterinary): 16 post
Education Qualification:
i) Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board.
ii) Must have passed Veterinary Stock Assistant Course
from a recognized Institution.
c) Constable (Animal Transport): 104 post
Education Qualification:
Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board
d) Sub Inspector (Overseer): 80 post
Education Qualification:
Matriculation or equivalent with a Diploma in Civil Engineering from an Institute recognized by the Central Government.
e) Constable (Pioneer): 197 post
Education Qualification:
Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board with
- One year’s experience in the trade of Mason or Carpenter or Plumber or Electrician or Welder or Painter.

Carpenter - 35 Posts

Welder - 10 Posts
f) Head Constable (Motor Mechanic): 22 post
Education Qualification:
(i) Matric/ 10th class pass from a recognized Board.
(ii) Certificate in Motor Mechanic from a recognized
institution/ ITI with 3 years practical experience in the
trade in a reputed workshop or 3 years diploma in Automobile Engineering.
g) Constable (Motor Mechanic) : 38 post
Education Qualification:
(i) Matric/ 10th class pass from a recognized Board.
(ii) Certificate from a recognized institution/ ITI in Automobile Engineering/Motor Mechanic trade.
h) Constable (Driver): 247 post
Education Qualification
(i) Matric/ 10th class pass from a recognized Board. (ii) Valid driving License for Light/Medium/Heavy
vehicles with minimum 2 years experience in driving.
Age Limit as on 22.04.2013
a) Inspector (Hindi Translator): 30 years
b) Head Constable (Dresser Veterinary): 18 to 25 years
c) Constable (Animal Transport): 18 to 25 years
d) Sub Inspector (Overseer): 20 to 25 years
e) Constable (Pioneer): 18 to 23 years
f) Head Constable (Motor Mechanic): 19 to 25 years
g) Constable (Motor Mechanic) : 18 to 25 years
h) Constable (Driver): 20 to 25 years

Pay Scale + other allowances
Inspector Pay Band-2, 9300 – 34800+ Grade Pay of Rs. 4600/- Per month.
Sub Inspector Pay Band-2, 9300 – 34800+ Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/- Per month.
Head Constable Pay Band-1, 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2400/- Per month.
Constable Pay Band-1, 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2000/- Per month.
