RBI Exam Update: Reserve Bank of India has again came up with the recruitment of Assistant and this time for the 506 post. The details of the examination, exam pattern is still the same as compared to the previous year. However we have updated over section with more new questions after previous year examination.  We have also created a new section this time for the candidates who want to prepare thoroughly for the examination. RBI Assistant Exam Details
Reserve Bank of India(RBI) conducted the  recruitment exam for the selection of 525 Assistant. This page will help you to appear for the examination to be held shortly. Since the official advertisement does not show the Syllabus details for the examination so don't worry we will tell you how to prepare for the examination its not too late to start preparation.

Scheme of Selection: Candidates have to pass the Online Examination & an Interview to get selected. The details of the examination is given below.

Please note the examination will be computer based test i.e online test, no paper based test. Candidates have to attempt mcq keeping in mind that their is 1/4th negative marking as well. The examination will have 5 parts we will go section by section to tell you its detail contents with some sample questions.
Please note that the candidates have to pass in each section individually hence you have to prepare for all the sections
Paper will be in bilingual hence candidates who studied in Hindi or English Medium will have equal chance to perform in the examination

Part I : Test of Reasoning
This will test your mental ability its quite easy but time consuming just you need to understand what is being asked, so we recommend you to attempt this section at last.

1) Coding-Decoding: In this section the real alphabets in the word are replaced by the certain other alphabets according to specific pattern which we have to detect.
For Eg. Ques: If in a certain language MYSTIFY is coded as NZTUJGZ, how is NEMESIS coded in the language?
a) MDLHRDR b) OGNFTJT c) ODNHTDR d) PGOKUGU
Sol: Clearly each letter in the word MYSTIFY is moved one step forward to obtain the corresponding letters of the code
MYSTIFY
+1(to all letters)
NZTUJGZ

So NEMESIS  +1 will be  OGNFTJT which is the answer

Part-II: Test of English Language
Here your basic English grammer skills will be tested, candidates having reading skills or who have read/found of reading novels will have a plus point in this section
Knowledge of: Verbs: past, present, future tense, nouns, participals, adjectives & all other basics

In such questions just break the percentage, like it is easy to find 10% of something
So 15% = 10% + 5%

Part-IV: Test of General Awareness
For this you have to go for current affairs & happening in past 1 or 2 years including
Banking sector like details of RBI, ICICI, Axis, SBI, HDFC & other pubic & private banks
Insurance sector like details & past history of National, Oriental, New India & United India Insurance Co. Ltd.
Financial Sector: This include details of BSE, NSE including Gold, Silver rates fluctuation, latest IPO etc
Current Affairs: For this people reading news paper daily will be at the plus point, current affairs like IPL spot fixing, Kingfisher airlines & lots of current topics which are buzzing around India

ii) A candidate has to qualify in each part of theObjective test separately. There will be negative
marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

iii) Other detailed information regarding the examination will be given in an Information
Handout, which will be made available for the candidates to download along with the call letter for
examination from the RBI’s website
