Selection Procedure: Candidates have to pass through the following test
STAGE - I (Physical efficiency test/Physical standards test)
STAGE –II : WRITTEN TEST
In written test their will be 50 objective type questions based on the following sections
a) General awareness / general knowledge
b) Knowledge of elementary mathematics
c) Analytical aptitude.
d) Ability to observe and distinguish patterns.
e) Basic knowledge of the candidates in English/Hindi.

STAGE –III: TRADE TEST
In trade test of 50 marks for practical
Trade Test, a candidate must secure 20 marks to qualify
STAGE –IV: MEDICAL EXAMINATION
STAGE- V : DRAWAL OF FINAL MERIT LIST
In this the candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the marks scored in the written examination.
STAGE-VI : FINAL SELECTION
Final Selection will be based on the merit in each category for the respective post. The cut off marks secured in written test will be as follows
General and Ex-Servicemen : 35 %
SC/ST/OBC : 33 %
