UGC NET 2013-2014 Exam Details
University Grand Commission(UGC) has published the details the details of National Educational Testing(NET) Examination details. Thousands of candidates appear in the exam every year. UGC is going to conduct the examination on 29th December, 2013 i.e Sunday. Candidates can check the further details from he below link.
Exam Details
The exam will have 3 paper of 100 marks each. The first & second paper will be of 1.25 hours & 3rd paper will be of 2.5 hours. The scheme of exam is given below.

First I 100 60 out of which 50 question to be attempted 1¼ Hours (09.30 A.M. to 10.45 A.M.)
First II 100 50 questions all are compulsory 1¼ Hours (10.45 A.M. to 12.00 NOON)
Second III 100 75 questions all are compulsory ½ Hours (01.30 P.M. to 4.00 P.M.)

Eligibility: Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic

OBC 35% 35% 67.5 (45 %) rounded off to 68
PWD/SC/ST 35% 35%  60 (40 %)

Age Limit(as on 01.12.2013):
For Junior Research Fellowship: Applicant age should not be more than 28 years
Relexation: 5 years for Sc/ST/OBC/PD.
For Assistant Professor: Their is no upper age limit.

How to apply: Candidates have to visit the official website i.e www.ugcnetonline.in or  www.ugc.ac.in to apply for the examination. Before applying candidates must have a scanned passport size photograph in JPEG format.

Examination Fees: General Candidates: Rs.450/-
Other Backward Classes: Rs.225/-
SC/ST/PWD candidates: Rs.110/-
