Every year lakhs of candidates peruse Computer Science(CS) or Information Technology(IT) to become Software Engineer after completing their Graduation, not all of us are graduated from IIT's & NIT's & those you do will directly get jobs in Major Software Companies like TCS, Infosis.


All of us want best in their future and some times we don't get colleges according to our ability or even you are in good college their placement might not be too good to make you place in such companies.
One of the major problem is that Graduate Engineers weather its B.E or B.Tech don't have much practical knowledge which is must to get recruit in such companies, what all you have to do is you just plan your future, there are thousands of Software & IT companies in small scale which generally have 200- 500 employees, such companies don't give high packages and must of us denies to work in such companies.

Now the best way is that accept this fact that you don't have much practical knowledge and join such companies in the beginning as hey provide good training, once you get training for 5 to 6 month you will come to know how overall these companies work, this training period in very important in terms of building your knowledge & getting programming knowledge, work their for 1 to 2 year & then look for change.

Majorities of the Top IT Companies hire 1 to 2 year experienced graduates, the main reason to hire  such graduates is that they don;t have to provide any kind of training to them, hence company can generate direct income from such employees & that period is the changing period in your career.

Why go for jobs in IT industry ? 
After graduation the main question is why select Computer why not other branches like Mechanical / Civil  etc. First of all its all depends on you some people like field work more some don't because innovation is every where hence go for your interest, and jobs in IT sector is easier first of all you don't have to work for whole day no overtime, secondly you don't have to run here and there whole day just sit in your office wiih your computer  and you can achieve anything.
