UP Police recruitment selection process 2016
Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board(UPPRPB) is going to select 34716 Police constables in year 2016. Candidates are all are Uttar Pradesh residents and want to get selected for the post can check the selection process as it includes numerous stages and candidates need to clear all of the stages in order to get selected.
This time the number of vacancies are huge hence the changes of getting selected will be more but on the other side the number of applicants will also be more hence if you start preparing your self to clear the selection process things will be quite easy.
The selection process includes 3 steps in which the candidates will be shortlisted based on their marks in senior secondary and higher secondary. The weight-age of 10th class will be 100 marks and for 12th class it will be 200 marks.
Shortlisted candidates will have to pass through the Physical Efficiency Test which includes 4.8 kms for male candidates and 2.4 kms for female candidates. Based on the time taken by the candidates they will be awarded the marks.

The maximum time male candidates can take will be 12 minutes and for the female candidates will be 16 minutes. Candidates who will be shortlisted in Physical Efficiency test will need to undergo medical test which will bring down the list of shortlisted candidates
