LIC AAO Exam syllabus, Pattern Sample questions 2016
Life Insurance Corporation of India(LIC) Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) examination will be conducted on 5th, 6th and 13th March 2016. The number of vacancies which was 750 in the 2013, 200 in 2015 is 700 is 2016, hence candidates will have better chances of getting selected as the number of seats are now more than 2015.

Candidates who will be appearing  in the examination & want to get prepare or they don't know what to study & which part to improve can go through the below sections.The exam paper will be in both English & Hindi language & the paper will be of 2 hrs containing a total of 160 question of 300 marks. their will be a negative marking for each wrong answer.

Important Instructions
-Candidates can attempt any question at any point of Time from all the 160 questions. Each question will be having 5 choices from which only 1 answer will be correct.
-Their will be a timer on the side of your screen which will tell you the time left in the examination.
-For each wrong answer one-forth of the marks will be deducted their for answer question only if you are 100% sure otherwise you might end up lossing marks.
-Candidates need to pass in all the sections, the cutoff for each section will be decided by the LIC of India

Syllabus
However no specific syllabus has been provided officially by LIC of India but you can still go for sample questions given below which will give you a rough idea about the pattern of the paper

Part I : Reasoning Ability
This will test your mental ability its quite easy just you need to understand what is being asked
for eg
Ques: If TAP is coded as SZO, then how is FREEZE coded?
a) EQDFYG, B) ESDFYF, C)GQFDYF, D) EQDDYN
Ans: here you need to find relation between SZO & TAP
Like here T is followed by S T->S, P->O
then in FREEZE, F->E, R->Q, E->D, Z->Y
so answer is EQDDYN

Here it will be pure mathematics, candidates having strong basic maths can make it easily
