WBSETCL recruitment Exam 2016
West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (WBSETCL) is going to conduct the recruitment examination for 421 post of Assistant Engineer, Junior Engineer, Assistant Manager, Junior Executive, Technician Grade III, Office Executive and Stenographer post.
Candidates how have applied for the post and want to prepare for the written test also known as Common Proficiency Test(CPT) can check the details.
The examination will be conducted for all the post, however the examination pattern will be different for the different post. The total number of questions for the exam will be 100 which candidates need to complete in 90 minutes.
Candidates need to keep in mind that their is negative marking of 1 for every working answer hence candidates need to answer the question only of they are sure about the answer, otherwise you might end with loosing marks.

Minimum Qualifying Marks: 40% for UR & OBC-A/B
35% for SC (MCQ Type Considering all Groups i.e out of 100)
35% for PH
30% for ST
English & Bengali / Nepali papers: 05 marks for all categories
Interview marks: 25 marks.
Please note that the final selection will be made based on the combined score of written examination and interview score.
