Paper Pattern
BIS Online Exam generally contains four sections including Aptitude, Reasoning, English & Technical Knowledge part, all the sections have 50 questions each which will be of 1 mark each, hence in total their will be around 200 questions which will be of 200 marks. A total of 120 minutes(2 Hours) is allotted to complete the examination.
Paper Cutoff
The main problem while attempting the paper is their cutoff is two high i.e - 1/2 marks. So candidates who will be looking to attempt all the questions some, than his / her probability of getting selected will be two low.
How to attempt the paper
Candidates who are looking to crack the examination, have to manage this 120 minutes judiciously in order to get selected, One thing which is good is that Engineers who don't have good technical knowledge don't have to fear because in this examination only one fourth of the total questions will be from technical side, hence they can score more, usually Engineers study Mathematics throughout their Semesters hence for them aptitude & reasoning part is two easy so the key point which may select is your English part & Technical up-to certain extent. We have provide sample questions on each part so that you can get the idea about which type of questions are generally asked in the examination. We have also provided Technical Topics of their branch which they need to brush up as they might get questions related to it.
After each section we have provided links of some good book, if you have time & want to study more about particular section you can buy these books.
