Right time to switch jobs
With the Increasing jobs in Service Sector candidates are always looking for better jobs. Job hunting is one of the most important aspects which in important for steady growth in your career. Candidates are looking for better future now a days. You will find most of the emerging companies which are CEO less then 30-35 years. Their were days when people can only reach to such post after 50-55 years of hard work.
Now a days its just the mind games, if you are talented and if you have guts to convert your dreams into reality no one can stop you. Looking for job change looks a bit earlier task in this context but if you do it at right time, if you choose right company and if you look you right skill sets which will help you in long run no one can stop you. Now the important question it all together.
Changing job is not an easy task as most of us might get emotionally attached to our company. Even if we are getting good hike we can't think of changing the same as we actually don;t want to move out of the comfort zone.
So here are the few important points which can help you to determine when to change job
Point 1 > Determine what is your goal and are you actually working in line with your future goal. If yes than you are lucky in IT industry. If No then just look for change within 2-3 years or try to get most of it.
For example consider you as an associate who got selected in xyz company. Since you got training in Java and once you got the project you found that their is not much use of Java hence you started thinking to look for other company.
On the other hand other abc associate got good project in same stream hence he think of staying back in same project in 4-5 years at-least.
Point 2 > If you don't like you current job starting doing some certifications and enhance your knowledge in continuation with your current job, if may help you get good knowledge and right job when you switch.
Point 3 > If you are in a bigger group, its better if you stay for at-least 3-4 years in the initial stage as it will act as a base for your career/
Point 4 > Not always true but try to get jobs in Multinational companies as it helps you to reach your goal more easily.
